Tim Hortons Cafe & Bake Shop To Be The Official Coffee Served at Ohio State University Athletic Venues
DUBLIN, Ohio-Tim Hortons Cafe & Bake Shop's Always Fresh premium blend coffee will be hot and ready for visitors to Ohio Stadium just in time for the Ohio State Buckeyes' season home opener on September 3.
Through a partnership with Sodexo and Ohio State IMG Sports Marketing, Tim Hortons Cafe & Bake Shop will be the official coffee served throughout all Ohio Stadium vending locations.
With more than 70 restaurant locations in Columbus, plus Nationwide Arena and Huntington Park, Tim Hortons is prioritizing convenience in its U.S. headquarters' hometown.
"With the addition of our product in The Horseshoe, sports fans in Columbus can now enjoy our premium blend coffee not only when they cheer on the Buckeyes, but also the Blue Jackets and the Clippers," said Mike Meilleur, Tim Hortons Senior Vice President of U.S. Operations.
In addition to Ohio Stadium, Tim Hortons Cafe & Bake Shop also will begin pouring in all Ohio State athletic venues yet this year, including The Schottenstein Center, Bill Davis Stadium, Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium and St. John's Arena. Additional menu items will be offered in select locations, including Iced Cappuccino.
All central Ohio area Tim Hortons Cafe & Bake Shop restaurants will feature two special "Game Day Donuts" every football Saturday throughout the season. The Game Day Donuts include a "buckeye Bloom" donut with a peanut butter center and a special Vanilla Dip donut coated with team color sprinkles. Tim Hortons Cafe & Bake Shop's Game Day Donuts retail for $.89 each, $4.99 for a half dozen or $6.99 for one dozen.
